Don't be a square, come to Frocks! The Manawatu Dirt Divas' 2025 Frocks on Shocks event is on Saturday May 3th in a new location and with a groovy theme!

A fun, relaxed cross country relay event just for women and girls (over the age of 10) to celebrate International Women’s MTB Day (first Saturday each May).

Riders will complete as many laps of a non-technical loop trail (15-30 mins) as they can in three hours. Suitable for competent beginners and above (Grade 2 trails).
 
Categories: Loner (Single rider), Deuce (Pairs), Fab Four (or Three) (Teams of 3 or 4 riders), Ma & Kiddo (Mother-Daughter pairs). If you want to ride in a pair/team but don’t have anyone to ride with, please contact us at dirtdivas@mmbc.co.nz and we’ll try to help. We will find out from you at registration whether/how many e-bikers are on your team. 

Come dressed in your best 1960s finery (no tutus or neon this year!) AND bring along some snacks to share (we'll provide the bananas).

When and where: Foxton MTB trails (in Target Reserve, between the racecourse and the golf club - State Highway 1 onto Foxton Racecourse Entry, turn R into MTB carpark). The race will begin at 12pm so get there in time to park your car out of the way, put on those costumes and tart yourself up! Mandatory briefing at 11.45am. 

Cost: $20 per person – except for Mother-Daughter teams who are $15 per person.

Prize-giving will be at the venue, starting at 3.30pm. Prizes for Category Winners, Best Dressed, Best Dressed Team, plus Spot prizes.
